Down South prides itself in more tropical cuisine... We aim to be more than just another Vietnamese restaurant.
We want to create a bridge that will lead you to the taste and flavors of what Vietnam is today with its diverse regional cuisine .

Em Oi menu offers dishes using high quality ingredients, such as antibiotic free, grass fed beef. Our fresh shucked oysters with a chili lemon spiked mignotte style sauce reflect of what you would find at local places along Vietnams Central Coast. Em Oi introduces appetizers, like crispy Brussel sprouts, a vegetable unheard of in Vietnam. Here they are fried crispy and tossed with fresh mint, chili sate and peanuts, then set over a creamy curry aioli. Specialties from the North include dishes like Bun Cha Nem, three kinds of charcoal grilled pork with noodles, and fresh herbs. Cha Ca La Vong is another house specialty using fresh local Chesapeake Bay catfish marinated in a mortar and pestle paste of turmeric and galangal then grilled over charcoal. |
